Chris Mitchell has been active in astrological studies since the 1990s. He holds a PhD from the University of Leicester on the topic of medieval astrology, an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University College, and a Diploma in Medieval Astrology from Astrologos, Bernadette Brady's school. He is a tutor on the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Almuten Figuris is his own publishing imprint. He gives talks regularly to astrology groups and conferences throughout Europe and the US, and hosts an annual medieval astrology retreat course on the Greek island of Lefkada.
