Greg Bogart is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 28276, California, since 1991) and astrologer. He completed graduate work at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and Saybrook University, both known for transpersonal and depth psychology, and holds Level IV certification from NCGR and ISAR certification as an astrological counselor. He currently lectures in the Department of Psychology at Sonoma State University, teaching courses on Transitions in Adult Development, Depth-Oriented Psychotherapies, Myth, Dream and Symbol, and Existential and Transpersonal Psychologies. Previous academic positions have included CIIS, John F. Kennedy University, Dominican University, and the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. His practice integrates meditation, hatha yoga, Jungian dreamwork, psychosynthesis, and existential psychotherapy with astrological counseling, drawing significantly on the humanistic and transpersonal tradition of Dane Rudhyar. He is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher (1992) and has presented at OPA conferences. He is the author of eleven books on therapeutic astrology, depth psychology, and spiritual development.
