Kathryn Silverton holds a Master's degree in psychology from the University of West Georgia (1979) and was introduced to astrology through the psychology department during her undergraduate studies. She became professionally certified by the American Federation of Astrologers in 1983 and currently serves on the AFA Board of Directors. She is a past President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Astrological Society. Kathryn teaches intermediate to advanced astrology, covering secondary progressions, solar arcs, solar returns, and the mathematics of chart casting required for AFA certification exams. She has presented at AFA and UAC national conferences and has had articles published by NCGR.
