Laura Boomer-Trent, known by her avatar Astro Dakini, is a French-born spiritual astrologer based in London, England, with over 40 years of astrological experience. Coming from an arts background and earlier career in film and television, she has been an early pioneer of modern Spiritual Astrology. Her practice bridges Western psychological and esoteric astrology with Eastern healing traditions - Tibetan, Chinese, and Indian astrology, yoga, and tantra - following studies at His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's Tibetan Medical and Astro Science Institute in Dharamsala, India, in 1996-97. Her heart guru was the late Kalachakra Master, Lama Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche, who guided her to approach astrology from a spiritual and global perspective. Past media work includes creating Channel 4's Astrology Show (1990), serving as BBC astrologer for three years in the early 1990s, fronting Sky and Star TV Tarot Line in the mid-1990s, and working with World Interactive Television from 1998-2001. Laura has lectured at the Theosophical Society, the Astrological Lodge of London, the Astrological Association of Great Britain, the Cosmic Intelligence Agency (Australia), and has been thrice invited to the Krishnamurti Institute for Astrology and Vedic Cultural Wellbeing in Kolkata, India. Consultations are offered as 1-2-1 sessions, recorded readings, or written print-outs, on a sliding scale according to means.
