Linda Furiate graduated from the International Academy of Astrology (IAA) in 2012 and served as editor of the IAA newsletter from 2010 to 2022. She continues as a board member and Media Director of the IAA, Program Director for the Annapolis NCGR chapter, and a member of ISAR. Her professional background includes work as a TV host and producer, communications liaison, and administrator for an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, where she developed her focus on how addictive and habitual behavior manifests in the natal chart. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner and motivational speaker on topics of astrology, addictions, and cervical dystonia. She teaches courses including Astrology and Addictive Behavior Uncovered and Seven Steps to Finding Your Vocation in the Horoscope through the IAA, and has contributed regularly to the Astrology News Service. Linda has been a board member on the editorial team of the Astrology News Service and has been quoted in numerous publications on zodiac and psychological astrology topics.
