Robyn Ray's interest in astrology began in the 1980s, followed by formal training with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, from which she gained the Diploma in 1990. She is one of a small group of experienced astrologers who also completed the Faculty's two year Counselling Diploma, grounded in humanistic and transpersonal psychology. In 2013 she undertook further study with the School of Traditional Astrology. As one of the first members of the Association of Professional Astrologers International, she served for several years as a Council Member and Treasurer, and in 2005 was awarded a Fellowship (FAPAI) in recognition of her contribution to astrology. She also holds the RCAstrol designation from the Royal College of Astrologers.
