Toby Aldren has been practising astrology professionally since 1998. He earned his FAS Certificate in 1998, winning a Faculty Scholarship for his exam results, then returned to Faculty coursework in 2010 and was awarded the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies in 2013. He maintains his association with the Faculty as a Distance Learning Tutor and Online Classes tutor, and regularly participates in the Faculty's annual Summer School in Oxford. A formal background in education runs through his career: he has taught on the faculty of Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and in public school systems in both Ontario and British Columbia. He is a member of APAI, the Astrological Association UK, and the Faculty of Astrological Studies, and has lectured at the Canadian Astrology Conference, SOTA in Buffalo, and the UK Astrological Association Conference.
