Julene Louis began her astrological practice in 2000 as a Western astrologer before deepening into Vedic astrology, earning the Jyotish Visharada designation through the Council of Vedic Astrology (CVA). She also holds NCGR and ISAR-CAP (Certified Astrological Professional) certifications. She is a graduate of the International Academy of Astrology, where she now serves as CEO, and her classes count toward CVA certification hours. Her published work includes the ongoing Sky Watch column in The Mountain Astrologer since 2008, which focuses on observational sky astrology and helping readers locate planets in the night sky. She co-founded the Sky Astrology Conference, first held in Eleuthera, Bahamas in 2015 and second in Moffat, Colorado in 2018, dedicated to reconnecting astrologers with the living sky. She has lectured at UAC, ISAR, MAC, GLAC, and the Sedona Vedic Astrology Conference, and teaches at the Midwest School of Astrology and in private mentoring settings. She is available as a mentor for students working toward CVA Jyotish Visharada certification.
