- A live session by phone. Same as video but without the camera.
- In Person
- You meet the astrologer at a physical location.
- Recorded
- The astrologer records a video reading for you to watch in your own time.
- Audio
- A reading delivered as an audio file. Like a personal podcast episode made just for you.
- PDF / Written Report
- A detailed written document you can read and return to at any time.
- Chat
- A session conducted by text. Good if you prefer writing over speaking.
- You send your questions and receive a written response. Flexible on timing for both sides.
- Do certifications matter?
- Astrology is not a licensed profession, so certifications are voluntary. They show the astrologer has met certain standards set by a professional body, but are not a guarantee of quality. Many excellent astrologers are self-taught or trained outside formal certification systems.
- ISAR
- International Society for Astrological Research. One of the most widely recognized global certification bodies for professional astrologers.
- OPA
- Organization for Professional Astrology. Focuses on ethical and professional standards for practicing astrologers.
- NCGR
- National Council for Geocosmic Research. A US-based organization offering structured certification levels.

- A consulting astrologer certification offered through ISAR, focused on professional practice standards.

- Astrology schools are formal programs where astrologers study the craft. Completing a program does not guarantee quality, but it shows the astrologer has invested in structured learning.

- Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology. Focuses on the psychological and depth-oriented side of astrology.
- CPA
- Centre for Psychological Astrology. One of the leading schools for psychologically oriented Western astrology.
